Welcome to 2017, it is my delight that this new will stir a sense of purpose in you and that you are empowered to pursue your dreams. Thanks for your awesome comments, feedbacks, encouragement about this online devotional. I hope to stir you towards your God-given goal.
We are beginning a new series of teaching today. The title is the power and discipline of vision. In this series I want to guide and remind you of the necessity of capturing a vision as a leader and the subtle relationship between vision and discipline. I trust it will be an immense and helpful teaching series for you. You're blessed!
I encourage you to read diligently and pass these on to others, and together we can enrich the world and extend the influence of God.
This year I want you to capture a vision that scare you, causes you to doubt greatly and ultimately reduces your friends because nothing in life disciplines a man like vision. A vision that does not scare you and make you doubtful isn't worth a vision. A vision that does not shake you cannot shake the world. If you have a lot of friends in your life its because you don't have a vision. Huh? Eagles are visionaries, they soar unlike other birds because they can see farther than other birds. Eagles don't flock or make friends with sparrows.Beloved if your vision for this year doesn't scare you then you need to revision. Vision is the motivating stimulus for personal or corporate discipline.
Have you wondered why leaders are disciplined people? It's because leaders are visionaries.
Vision is the source of personal discipline. . Vision is so powerful and it is a major component of leadership. Vision is living.
The leadership potential of a person is activated or comes alive when he captures his personal vision in life. Leadership is birthed when a person's vision is more vivid than the experience of the past or present. When a non leader captures his or her vision, his leadership functions begins to stir. The leadership potential of Joseph was stirred when he captured his vision. He envisioned that God has created him to lead his generation despite his age. Paul captured his vision on his way to Damascus and he became one of the greatest leaders in church history. Yours need not to be dramatic like Paul's but you must capture it as true leadership is futile, unnecessary or invalid without an uncovering of a sense of unique purpose or vision because a leader primarily exist to fulfill a specific vision. Vision gives your life a meaning. It gives you hope of fulfilling your purpose in life. It explains the purpose of leadership. A leader dies when there is no sense of vision.
WHAT IS VISION?

* Vision is the bridge between the present and the future.
* Vision creates what exists but cannot be seen.
Becoming a leader, means you must capture the vision of a future that incorporates the fulfillment of your life's primary assignment or unique purpose. God has an exciting purpose, plan, and vision for every one of His children. If you haven't found yours yet, This teaching article will help you discover and fulfill your God-ordained destiny. You're not another person,
You do not exist just to go to school and earn a degree, get married, make a living, pay rents. No! Revive your passion for living. Pursue your dream. Discover your vision--and find your true life. A strong vision inspires passion. This passion controls and transforms your life, dictates your decision and choices. Vision affects how you spend your life and resources because vision is the source of discipline.
Dear beloved there is a subtle connection between vision and discipline. I'll share deeper on this in the next episode. Discipline is a result of authentic vision. The major issue with us today - young people aspiring to be great leaders isn't the absence of vision but the absence of discipline of vision. The Bible says where there is no vision people perish or cast off restrain. This means there is a inseparable relationship between vision and discipline.
What's the connection between vision and personal discipline you ask??
SEED : Leaders exist to fulfill a vision
