Revelation 3:19 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent"
Leadership is the passionate pursuit of one's unique purpose, assignment and vision.
In previous episodes I shared with you that your passion reflects your unique purpose in life.
Leadership is also providing solutions to problems in the problem. Leaders exist to solve a specific problem in the world. You tYruly become a leader when you identify the problem you were created to solve. Every profitable vision or purpose always solve a problem.
Never forget that your passion is the pointer to the problem you were created to solve. Passion solves problems. Do you know that there are myriads of problems in the world??
The world is filled with problems like leadership, entrepreneurship, environmental, social, musical, technological, spiritual, educational, fashion, political, media, medical, administration, business, economical e.t.c. Your passion solves at least one of these problems. A passion to solve technological problem inspired Thomas Edison to invent the light bulb we enjoy today. A passion to solve communication problem inspired Alexander Graham Bell to invent telephone. Do you have a passion to create, invent or build Others express their passion for purpose through their efforts to bring positive advancements to the world. Let's look at just another area : medical problem. A passion for medicine, led Louis Pasteur to prove that germs are connected with disease and to invent the process known as "pausterization." The problems of the society inspires true leaders to provide solutions. Leaders don't search for jobs because they are too preoccupied looking for problems to solve.
Purpose is the innate sense of knowing why you were born (John 18:37) while vision is the ability to see in your heart your purpose unfolding (Luke 4:18). Your passion is one major way to discover your unique purpose in life. God hid your purpose where you cannot miss it - in the recesses of your heart.
Below are lists of various passion pointing to purpose. Read and discover your passion.
