True vision is discovering what to die for not just to live for. Visionary leaders ask the question 'what kind of history do i dream of making"?
Vision is the capacity to see things as they could be while sight is seeing things as they are. Vision is the ability to see beyond the present and creates what exist but cannot be seen. It is the primary motivator of a leader's actions.
Vision and discipline are inseparably linked. Vision is the source of discipline. Discipline could mean the suppression of one's base desire for the accomplishment of one's purpose or the discovery of one's unique field or gift in life.

Today I want to share with you how vision disciplines your life, determines what you do. What does having a vision do in our lives? If your vision is true and authentic it will create consequences and affects how you live. All vision will be tested for it's authenticity!!

THE DISCIPLINE OF VISION

The key to life is capturing a vision that imposes discipline on you. Discipline is a nature that attracts people to leaders. That's why we go to see sportsman, we really admire their discipline. Vision disciplines our lives in the following way:

1. Vision defines purpose.
2. Vision clarifies passion.
3. Vision provides perspective.
4. Vision offers productivity.
5. Vision increases possibility.
6. Vision strengthens hope.
7. Vision releases power.
8. Vision chooses your future.
9. Vision measures your success.
10. Vision gives direction to life.
11. Vision gives life a meaning.
12. Vision releases focus & discipline.
13. Vision simplifies your life.
14. Vision defines your life.
15. Vision identifies you in life.
16. Vision chooses the kind of life you'll live.
17. Vision chooses your friends.
18. Vision chooses your 'who to marry"
19. Vision chooses your environment.
20. Vision determines your choices.
21. Vision chooses your library.
22. Vision chooses your use of resources.
23. Vision chooses your priorities.
24. Vision chooses your hobbies.
25. Vision chooses your attitudes in life.
26. Vision chooses your movies.
27. Vision chooses your diet.
28. Vision chooses your to do list.
29. Vision chooses your life's plan.
30. Vision dictates your values or standards.
